Why was founded
UNO Federation Community Services was founded in 1998 with a clear mission: to support immigrants and disadvantaged individuals in achieving stability, independence, and full participation in American society.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we combine our humanitarian mission with the technical expertise of a licensed General Contractor. This unique blend allows us to offer both community support programs and professional construction services—creating opportunities that address urgent needs while fostering long-term growth.
Our services span a wide range of areas designed to help individuals and families build better lives:
- Humanitarian Programs – Campaigns focused on civic education, moral values, integration, drug prevention, human rights, and personal development.
- Community Services – Immigration form preparation, tax preparation, document translation, notary services, and business creation assistance.
- Construction & Remodeling – Residential and commercial renovations, painting, and government contract projects through our licensed General Contractor division.
By integrating construction expertise into our non-profit work, we are able to directly improve housing conditions, enhance community spaces, and create job opportunities—particularly for immigrants seeking to establish a stable foundation in the United States.
